I am very happy about being home in my own bed. The mattress doesn't whack the wall when I move, like the one at school, because it is not a trundle. I have plenty of room to keep my books in my bed with me. And the sheet is not heavy like my sheet on my bed at St. Joan's, but it is soft and growing threadbare, which I like. I have been reunited with my down pillow, which further makes me happy. Whenever I change the pillowcase, I can see the stains on the pillow from crying so much my freshman fall as I was going to sleep.
I started reading both The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri and Adverbs by Daniel Handler. So far I enjoy both. I think I am further along in Adverbs than The Namesake, but hopefully one will be done by Tuesday.
Time for bed, me and my books.
