Not so much the content of the post, but the title of the post - ever read John Donne's A Valediction: Forbidding Mourning? If not, you should.
I have John Donne on the brain. I should have T.S. Eliot on the brain, since he is the subject of my current essay, but I got my Torrey paper back yesterday with accolades. So all I can think about is John Donne.
